The first Work Package (OR) of the project focuses on developing an advanced evidence-informed decision-making process, supported by the Digital Twin, to help Public Administrations design more effective and data-driven policies.
Thanks to innovative technologies such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and big data, Nexus 2030 aims to collect and organize data from a variety of sources—from scientific research to citizen science—creating common, easily accessible data spaces. This process will provide a broad and multidimensional knowledge base, helping decision-makers balance different types of evidence for more informed governance.
The project addresses the goals of the European Data Strategy, promoting an open and collaborative approach that enhances data sharing and circulation, supporting informed public decisions for more sustainable territorial management.
